Dan Hesse Resigns from ÂÒÂ×°ÍÊ¿ Corporation Board of Directors to Focus on Business Commitments
GREENSBORO, N.C.--
ÂÒÂ×°ÍÊ¿ Corporation (NYSE:ÂÒÂ×°ÍÊ¿C) today announced that Dan Hesse, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sprint Nextel Corporation, has decided to resign from the ÂÒÂ×°ÍÊ¿ Board of Directors, effectively immediately, to focus on his business commitments.
Hesse, 54, was elected to ÂÒÂ×°ÍÊ¿'s Board of Directors in 1999, and served as a member on the Board's Finance and Compensation Committees.
